Copper Hibiscus

Much of the work I do features a technique called fold forming. These copper hibiscus come from the research in this technique. It's almost impossible not to see a hibiscus in bloom here in Florida. It won't matter which day you come here, We'll be able to find one in bloom. You just have to listen for them! They seem to celebrate the warm breeze. They almost scream "Look at me"

Fold forming is a passion of mine

I hope you enjoy these fold formed vessels

Latest piece from the bench

This small copper bowl is the most recent piece from the bench. It's hammered from one sheet of copper. It measures approx. 3" wide and high

"Inside Herself"

I'm never quite sure if this form is springing forth or disappearing. I'm sure she's free standing,

I'm sure she's both simple and complex. I enjoy the patterns, her fluid lines and find her to be changing before my eyes as she becomes herself.
